One Card Draw Nov 16

Today's one-card draw will run from noon to midnight Eastern time. I have some errands to run, so this will enable people to leave a request for a reading then check back later. It will also allow me to include as many people as possible.

Feel free to pimp me out to your friends, thanks!

The Grandmother of the Journey
The Grandmother of the Journey brings spontaneity and innocence to you. Expect the unexpected. Plan for the unplannable. Hang on loosely. Flow. Breathe.

One of the most profound lessons my Medicine Elder taught me was to expect nothing yet to be prepared for everything, for then the abundance of the Universe could find us anywhere, and anywhere we found ourselves, we could be a tool for the Universe in return.

This is the lesson of the Grandmother of the Journey. This, and remembering to laugh often.

Hey! Got redirected from a friend, but I'd really appreciate it if I could get a card regarding what I should do with a personal, non-romantic relationship I'm having.

Please and thanks a bunch! ^^

Four of Fire
In a word, celebrate!

The Four of Fire indicates a time for joy, for celebration, for harmony between two people. I think it was Ghandi that said to be the changes we want to see in the world. Well, be the changes you want to see in this relationship, and celebrate that you have the opportunity to do just that!

Ace of Water
Whenever I see Aces in a reading I always see potential. Now, as we know, potential is nothing without substance behind it. You are being presented with the potential to be happy, to create joy out of the situations around you, to manifest your bliss. Great love is possible, but this isn't the, "I love you, do you love me, how much do you love me, will you always love me," drama that comes from ego. This is the pure unconditional love that comes directly from 'All That Is,' that we might move forward through our Earthwalk with grace and and happiness. Plunge yourself deeper into the Mystery of Life, and watch barriers dissolve into joy untold.

Crone of Fire
Ooooh, nice card!

The Crone of Fire is awesome. She burns away everything that is old and unnecessary in our lives, so that we have room for new blessings to find us. Her lesson is not always an easy one, but it certainly is always a positive one if we but open our eyes to see it. The potential is there for all things to be made new. It is best to yield to this newness, because, willing or not, what is not appropriate for our Earthwalk will be removed.

Grandmother of the Moon Song
This Grandmother is encouraging you to allow everything that you have kept hidden in the depths of your being to surface. This does not mean that you have to make them front page news, but rather that you stop hiding them. Take responsibility for them, as part of you, whether you like what is revealed by them or not. Claiming all parts of yourself, and knowing who you are completely and unconditionally, is a major step in the integration of the whole, and the path to greatness. Keeping a dream diary or journal might also help you, for I intuit that your dreams speak very loudly to you. Learn the language they are speaking, for it is possible to do much inner work in the Dreamtime.

Five of Spirit
This is the card of unconditional love, of giving with no thought of reward or recognition, of loving with no thought of being loved in return. In the face of all adversity, someone has to go into the darkness and shine the light. Someone has to give, and keep on giving. Remember, no act of kindness ever goes unrecognized by the Universe. We can give without loving, but we cannot love without giving.

Six of Water
This is the second time this card has been pulled today.

The Six of Water tells a story of cooperation. It is a card of happiness that comes through sharing. The Six of Water is advising you to watch for unusual ways in which you can share your happiness with others. There is karma with this card, too; a bonding with those with whom you have shared previous lifetimes, or far-memory. Keep sharing your happiness, and happiness will keep itself sharing with you.

I feel no uneasiness regarding your job decisions; I feel these too were karmic for you. Just keep flowing with optimism and cooperation.

Too late to ask for a card?

I'm a bit concerned if the universe has anything to tell me about the path I'm on.

Four of Earth
This is a lovely 'grounding' card. The Four of Earth is like having a tent peg in each element; Fire, Earth, Water, Air. The energies here bring balance and centeredness. You have put into motion what you wish to achieve, now be prepared to reap the satisfaction that comes from a job well done.

If I'm not too late, I'd like a card- I keep trying to get ahead with things, then sliding back. Would be nice to know if a card has anything to say about progress.

Five of Water
This is the second time this card has been pulled today.

The Five of Water is card is very much a dual blade, in that it represents loss or despair, but also new beginnings and hope. It's almost one of those, "Is the glass half empty or half full," questions.

Really feel and experience your current situation. Let it lead you back to your vulnerability, and your innocence. From this freshness, gain a new perception of self-acceptance, a new insight to who you authentically are. Then start again, strong and anew.

Crone of Air
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Who you are speaks so loudly I can't hear what you are saying." This is the message of the Crone of Air.

The Crone of Air represents the higher mind, an appreciation of mental acuity that only comes with inner peace. This is the 'peace that passes all understanding' of which the Christ spoke, which Zen masters teach, and which we cannot find when everything around us is so loud.

The Crone of Air is urging you to find your quiet space, your inner sanctum, and spend some time there in contemplation. This reflection will bring focus and direction, and the path before you will make itself clearly known.

Nine of Fire
That made me laugh. I heard Ian Drury singing, "Hit me with your rhythm stick!"

Nine of Fire for you. This is not the first time this card has made an appearance in today's drawings.

The Nine of Fire is an indicator of strength and courage. It is a time to give. Give from the fullness of your heart, and do not be concerned with the rewards. Transcend ego, and give purely and unconditionally. What goes around comes around, and no good deed ever goes unrecognized by the Universe. Trust that the Universe will care for you; now don your gauntlet and care for others.

Could you draw me a card about my disabling migraines?

YIPES YIPES missed the date; thought it was midnight tonight. Sorry to have troubled you!

Not Medical Advice
Don't worry about the date. I'm not that inflexible.

However, neither am I licensed or insured to give medical readings, especially not in a casual format such as online to someone I don't know! So I have to tell you 'metaphysically' what I see, if that makes sense.

The card I have drawn for you is the Woman of Rainbows. She indicates to me that your migraines are telling you to slow down. When we live our lives at a faster pace than is good for us, we are given the choice to slow down, and if we don't embrace that choice, then often it is made for us.

Woman of Rainbows is telling you to consciously choose to take more time for rest and relaxation. Spas, and hot baths, hot showers with scented oils; these are particularly appropriate for you. Ensure you drink enough water, good quality highly oxygenated water. Above all, slow down to the speed of life.

Grandmother of Temptation
This is the second time this card has appeared while I've been doing this draw.

This Grandmother cautions us to be aware of our desires, and not to confuse them with our needs. Often there is a fear of manifesting our desires, a fear of success, a fear that our dreams may come true, and sometimes that fear is so great that we sabotage our good works, so that we can fail rather than face our fears and succeed. There is a fine balance between facing our fears and dealing with them, or letting them consume us, because our fears are crafty, and can blinker us to the truth.

Re: Card Draw
Grandmother of Awareness comes to you today (appropriate, do you not think?!) to enable you to open your eyes, and awaken you to the interconnectedness of all things. Replace unconscious doubt of Self with unconditional love of Self, and watch the miracles start to happen!
