Although it's not really work, it's rather fun.


My pottery muse has been on hiatus this winter, but now that the weather is teasing us with some 40'f temps I feel her returning. I have some new ideas for some projects, and today I am hoping to get a 'huge' bowl started. I want to make something dynamic, a feature item, and if it goes well, I'm going to work out how I can turn a series of two or three of them in graduating sizes into a fountain. Stay tuned for photos of the 'work in progress.

In the meantime, here are some little stoneware dishes that I made last autumn. I think they came out well, don't you?



In other news, Little Barky Thing goes to the vet today for her jabs. I can't believe she's nearly eleven!
